I am giving serious thought to doing the south island rounds and provided I can wrangle up the funds needed ill be there.

One brilliant idea i have had  is to provide transport for someone else...

I have just bought a new transit van thats huge so I will be able to transport an extra bike and all there gear to all three rounds, I will stay down there and this allows the other rider to stay at work and just fly down where i can pick them up from the airport like a factory rider!! haha

I live in Hamilton but it would be no prob to pick your gear up from auckland or anywhere on the way down

As far as cost goes I figure $500 per round would be fair so thats $1500 total and considering the amount you would save in accomodation and time off work would be atleast double that!?

Im looking for genuine expressions of interest at this stage, if your not racing but still interested in helping me out in anyway that would be greatly appreciated as well!! :niceone:

Sounds like a good option for those trying to minimise time off work. I'm guessing most who are doing the Nat's have already got transport plans though.
