well a few of you may have read an earlier thread by me about getting my new C50 at the weekend and my absolute kiddy like enthusiasm and expectancy. fantastic!!
my partner is expecting our first baby in 8 weeks time, house bought in july, just rosey...........................
until i turn up for work this morning and get told the company is closing as of 1st january. no warning no rumours just 'we are closing'
now the whole issue has gone from 'aint life great' to 'tits up' in one very dodgy minute.
i know shit happens and as a mechanic hopefully another job isnt too far away, but i have to say, christmas aint what i was hoping it would be!!

Shit mate that aint good! You are trade qualified? In that case it shouldn't be too hard to find work - at the very least orchard or vineyard work til the new year hopefully. Hope it works out for ya mate.

Bugger, but I expect that most workshops would be run off their feet around this time of year, so it shouldn't be too hard to find another job. Good luck.

Man that really sucks, I hate it when stuff like that happens, had the same thing happen to me at a place i worked, i rocked the boat a little to much and end up out of a job, that was hard.
Its alot better if you know something is happening and not just have it dumped on ya like that.
Hope another job is around and the family is ok :grouphug:

Not a silly suggestion. WA is paying huge dollars for Mechanics/Fitters etc.
Put the house in the hands of a reputable company to rent/lease.
Head for the Pilbara. Spend five years there. Save heaps, and semi retire on your return.
