Well my new bike has just clicked over to 12.5 hours use.
Ive been Keeping up with all my "Periodic Maintenance"
And then some extra.:shifty:
Oils, Filters, Cable Lubing etc etc.
And i now have to check the valve clearance as workshop manual recomends.
So i went to repco and brought a set of "power built" feeler gauges.
Got home and wipped off all the plastics and tank.
Then took bike to "wash world" and gave her a real good clean.
Thought that checking the valves was going to be a real ass:shutup:.
But unscrewed the head and slid the feeler gauge(at the right setting) under the cam loab. While piston was at top dead centre.
All clearnaces were in order so i placed the head back on gave the spark plug a quick clean.
Placed all plastics back on the bike.
All this was done in under 2 hours :done:(including washing the bike, driving to wash world etc)
So far my 4 stroke has ticked all the easy boxs for maintenance.
Tryed to start the bike once all back together and couldn't.
Took awhile but figured out that i hadn't plumbed the tank back up to the carbie:shit:
Then a couple of kicks after that and she fired into life.
