Hello all, does anyone else carry thir notebook/laptop on the bike when communiting? If so, how do you carry it, do you have a spcial bag? I currently just sling the bag my notebook came in over my shoulder but it is very uncomfortable and I'm worried about the PC getting damaged from the virbrations of the bike.

Any ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks guys n gals

i dont have one, but plan to eventually. ill just put mine in my backpack, which sits on the pillion seat and gets strapped to the top box. i have heard of wrapping in bubble wrap.

As long as it's not turned on, the vibrations won't matter. Probably wouldn't be insured though if you came off. It it's uncomfortable you could possibly strap it on the back of the seat.

I agree about the vibrations etc - I use a good back pack. Quite comfy.

There are some good quality laptop backpacks available now with padding and waterproof. Laptop company has a wide selection - about the $100 mark i think. much better than the briefcase leather ones :-(

Pffft, buy one when you get there

I used to use a backpack but I've since stopped being technology co-dependent :Pokey:

My friend stashes theirs (in their normal laptop carry case) inside their ventura pack on the back of their bike. Bulky but protected.
