Yeah went out on my baldys, couldn't be stuffed changing the tires on a dirty bike and didn't think it would be to bad. But for the rain this morning it might have been ok, but was a bit of a grovel for the first lap. Got easier through the day, but bit knackered now!
Almost lost my eye after removing my fogged up goggles, bloody finger thick stick got me right in the corner of the eye, a few mm back and it might have been good night! Should have worn my safety glasses which I did for the rest of the laps. Then another great 50mm stick came up under my helmet, got me in the jaw and I almost bit my tounge off! Slowed down a bit after that!
Thanks Waitemata Motorcycle Club for yet another great days riding.

Not totally bald, the front was ok just rounded and its a med-hard tire, that was alright, but the rear is half worn with no edges in any direction. Its ok for dry conditions and teaches you throttle control. I used it at Harrisville on Saturdays, its a bit sketchy, but like I say, it teaches throttle control. Still had a good day though just had to keep the momentum up. It was worse on the down hills where you couldn't spin it, then both tires clogged and I just slithered to the bottom. Its a mish cleaning up now though eh?

hell yes, i did three full laps including all the xpert loops, took just over 2 hours to clean it, i walked out side before and sore all the bits i missed lol damm it.
i had a big learning session last weekend on throttle control down at the paprimu ride.
i found it quite easy on those up hill rooted sections just had to esay on the gas, hmmmm maybe im up my mud skills, what time did you get there danger?
