It's a Yamaha TT250 frame but it's not a 1980-84 one it sits lower at the front due to the down tube being shorter. Other than the down tube it is identical. I know it's not a 1985 onwards frame because I have one of those in my yard at the moment - trying to get rid of it actually.
The serial number on the frame is 16E-000751.
The stupid thing is I spotted it at the local wrecker and snaffled it for $40 since it is such good condition. It was only when I got to the powder coater and put two frames side by side that I noticed my faux par. Bugger.
