Its a New World - I am sure at least 50% of my wage goes there!
The road is good - we bit of crap just before the hill top where they resealed 4 weeks or so ago.
Great coffee at Little River.
If I go to bed and get some sleep I'll join you. :sleep::niceone:

Hey dudes and dudess's there will shortly be an announcement of a midway stagin post at Akaora, as my previous threads have kinda expanded upon, so keep looking at those threads, as this will be something different.
Me and my bestest friend, in all of the world have come up with a concept which will baffle, grab and intise that curiousity, that some of you have......and its a kinda secret which I am bursting to tell thee, but cannot break that bond of the sworn secret between the foces behind this one......
Keep watching my precious's!!:2thumbsup:clap::woohoo::Punk::msn-wink::eek::devil2::yeah:

Home was greet'd by summerish antics and a BBQ, sorry did not invite ya's and all. I was not to know a bbq was to be had:doh:.
Thanks people:done:
Rock on and all that:Punk:, days like today must be the prequil to like rides out to the bealy for lunch, springs for lunch, kiakoura for lunch, waiau-leeder for the same........ oh and to fit in rallys as well.......... oooops and I forgot family balance..... what a tricky and complicated world of which we live!!!!!!!:stupid:

Hey we were there too! Finally met Dangerous and now he has absolute proof that I really am a real person and not just an imaginary biker. Cool for us to met the people behind the internetty names too. Probably should have introduced ourselves as Oakie and Mrs Oakie a bit more rather than Richard and Vicki but hey ... maintains that air of mystery a bit longer I guess.
For a start I thought we'd wandered into some solely Italian bike gathering but after a while the Jap bikes turned up so we felt a bit more at home.
Hope we didn't hold anyone up too long on the way home when we managed to leave near the front of the bunch. . T'was Mrs Oakie's first time on the Akaroa run and on the wee 250 of course so we kept it pretty sedate. You all seemed to get past us in pretty rapid order anyway. Thoroughly impressed when we filled her bike up back at Christchurch though as she got 25.8kml for the trip. A good day.

Confession time - I had the best of intentions - in fact I went, just.....
...... I woke at 7.30 and it was already about 22 degrees and climbing - I hit the road after breakfast and did a round trip on empty roads, had my coffee at Little River on the way home and I was home before you all started.
Then of to the Halswell pool with the kids :woohoo:
Man it got hot - the hills were starting to soften up when I was there - they must have been just about liquid for you lot!

Yeah, real hot. Didn't notice anything up with the roads though.
