Around about 300km's Departed at 10:30 back by 4pm..Lunch and drink stops included

Bikes : 2 x Hyosung GT250R's

Can certainly agree that was a lot of fun.

Should have renamed it to Saturday's Hyosung Ride..:)

Saw the Welly Fast Crew at rimutex before they headed out on their ride. Hope you guys had a blast as well..

Well one :zzzz: in......
And one smartly decided to not go, because of a problem with the brakes.....Good call Str8

So that left Weaver and I to head out at 10:30...

Nice run over the hill, except for the drivers who decided to hog the white line after Weaver slotted in front of them......

Cruised through to Masterton. Topped up both bikes...$22.00 bucks of gas combined for both of them...And off we shot..

Nice bit of road, from Masterton out to Castlepoint....Only a couple of corners in the middle section of twisties with a bit of loose gravel on the lines but other than that was very clean all the way through..

Bit of lunch, at the ocean side food place....And then it was time to head back.....Bit of a quicker trip coming back through to the turn off to Martinborough, than the trip out. Weaver kindly gave some hints on cornering, and weighting (more knowledge and confidence obtained - thanks muchly dude)...

Fanging it (As much as possible on a Hyo 250...You can stop laughing now)..:).......Down the Masterton-Martinborough rd, came round a left hander and straight past a sign post which said Martinborough....1 U turn later, we turned left.......Another intersection.....2nd U turn and we turned left.......................Straight now.........Yup we headed in the right direction...:) Later discovered we could have kept going straight in the first place....Know for next time...:)

Coffee stop in Martinborough, and then up to Featherston, over the hill....Put into practice again what Weaver had showed me, seemed to flow a little better with the corners......More practice, more practice...

Home to discover had left my house keys inside, and my partner had decided to go and have coffee at the mall and do some shopping.................3 hours later she arrives home and I get inside.........Note to self - take house keys as well as bike keys next time...)

And so that raps the day and the ride....... Will be doing that one again soon...:)

Till next time - Keep Safe....

Sounds like a good ride dude. Aside from one of us having a bit of a major on the Takas (he is fine) it was a good ride cheers.
