Hey guys, well it's been one month since i started riding so yeah thought i would write up a ride report. I don't know what i've done more this month, riding or posting, as a lot of you know i have had some unfortunate luck. However this has not dampened my love of riding one bit. Well from the beginning, i bought a mint 1998 RG150 and well shes not mint anymore. After taking a road riding course with rider skills (who i would recommend any day) i started heading out on the open road. Took it easy and well binned her in the domain and down my road. Turned out the rear was coated in some slick stuff crazy. Learning throttle control on the two stroker is a hell of a lesson too but I reckon when it comes time to upgrade, the fact that i've learnt on a feisty little ripper would have paid off. I've covered roughly 1200km this month, which i hope is a good amount. I try to vary the riding conditions when cruising but ride her wherever I go rain or shine. Starting to get the hang of constantly reading the road and traffic which can be a bit of an overload at first but its saved me from a few close calls, like rounding a blind bend with trucks pulling out and people cutting corners. Have been on a few open road rides, unfortunately binning on one of them due to a noob mistake! All good won't happen again, i'm more wary of gravel now and with all the good kb'ers the latest rides i have been on were awesome. THe bikes has given me a bit off grief lately with indicators breaking and headlights failing but apart from that not too bad. She drinks petrol but thats a two stroke i guess lol Anyway I'm sure by the time I have finished my restricted she will be completely steamrolled haha. I've regained a lot of confidence I lost in cornering thanks to some great rides with you guys and yeah love riding so much! (It's addictive me thinks). Missus doesn't like it though lol I reckon she's jealous cos there are now to loves in my life haha. Anyway i hope to be riding a long time and i'll see you guys out on the road (rain or shine buyah!). Ride safe ad have a merry christmas!

See, their wheels are so small and they have negative trail, so if they let go of the handlebars with one hand they crash.

But you can always ride in to the middle of a bunch of them when they are parked and start chatting...
