H Guys and Girls
Just wondering how many 250 riders are in the area?? As we could all get together and go on criuses. with all of us being 250 then the likely hood of anyone getting lost and left out of the pack is unlikely. let me know if it sounds like you :scooter:

I've got a 350 single, so you're probably faster than me. Give us a PM when you're keen on a ride.:D

Dont limit yourself to 250cc rides mate  as their aren't many sole 250cc rides but alot of mixed capacity rides in the manawatu .

yeah I've been on one group ride so far. I was a bit slow being new at riding and all that. :) And ended up tailing the group of big bikes :) Next time a group ride is on I might give it a reattempt (adding 1000km to my belt definately helped the confidence hehe)

Dj you did fine on the group ride you came on, the friday nite cruises are good as well .. a wee flick close to palmy & do not forget some of the experienced riders are more than happy to give you some pointers ..
Cowboyz has excellent advice to offer & has helped my cornering immensely, almost ready for a rerun to see if there are any improvements

Stupy I have a 350 but would be happy to come out & join you all .. have only been riding since feb .. OMG 10 months go so fast .. have mostly done my riding with the Ashhurst/palmy crew & its been good to have that experience ...
actually I might have to organise another cruisy ride soon, this is catered for all riders & esp newbie riders or those who wanna come outta the woodwork,
hmm thinking hat on again .. & a destination .. ok will contemplate it on my way home tomorrow ..

really? oooh I felt kinda bad I thought I was holding people up. :) My cornering has improved heaps...and general speed since then. :) When's the next suitable out of town ride happening? The more rides the better I say :) The friday nights rides are kinda tough to get to for me.. bad night in general. :(

thats wot group riding is all about Dj .. ride your own ride, we will wait .. & every day you ride your riding improves I know mine has .. but also getting mentoring from those more experienced riders help immensely
I will organise a ride shortly so keep a eye out

would hate to think that people are avoiding us cause they think that they are holding some riders up! Honestly. When it might look like we are stopping to wait for someone, truth is that we would have stopped for a smoke/coffee/latte/camera shoot/to talk shit/all of the above anyway. The bigger bikes can get some pace on at times but we do not mind waiting at the stops. If you are late to a stop and feel you havent had a long enough stop and people look like they are starting to leave then offer 86 a latte or ask Yod how his days going and that will guarentee you another 10-55mins...............
