Fuel consumption for 1250 Bandit and 650 Burgman

Anyone who owns either of these can you give us a rundown on how you find the gas consumption? I'm in the process of determining the rate of "depletion" for my 650 Bandit, but my husband is interested in how the aforementioned vehicles compare. Thanks.

There's a 650 burgman test in the january Kiwi Rider magazine. Average fuel consumtion was 12.xx Km/l. Bloody thirsty. My 1100 gets 18km/l.
