Find someone with a Black bandit and swap the tank+fairings.
<img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b383/RomeoEskobar/bandit-red-frame-black-fairings.jpg" alt="Suzuki Bandit red frame black fairings" />
BUT, if you really want to throw some money away get a set of these.

Romeo, those are some abso-fucking-lutely hideous lights right there.
I love the single headlight; I feel it helps to define the bike. :)

Fairings are for pussies Weaver. :P

Yep, gotta agree there, cool frame, headers, wheels, the bike just looks great to start with.
I will suggest some red anodised bits like mirrors, levers and pegs, maybe a set of moto X bars, to make it stand out, and a tail tidy if it doesn't have one already.

With mirror indicators
Ride a bigger bike. Then you might think twice about pouring so much money into a 250. But if you do want to put the effort in (they are nice looking bikes admittedly), make sure you don't put too much personality into it which will alienate buyers when you want to trade up, like a purple flame paintjob or something. The best thing about 250's is resale value which will help a great deal when you want a 600.
Ooo, get a TYGA tail! :D you should be able to make it fit somehow

chrome wheels
Actually I'd suggest leaving the wheels black - with the rest of the bike as shiny as it is, chrome wheels might be too much. Maybe get those little lines around the rim? But I'd hesitate on chroming the wheels, certainly.
Oh, and clean your headers after every ride or two - they look so lovely and shiny, it'd be a sin not to keep them that way!

I thought carbon fibre was the new chrome?

but i love the carbon fiber.

No need to chrome the wheels - get them polished - they are alloy and if polished professionally they will shine like chrome but alloy has a 'softer' edge to the look. Nice
Get the seat redone - a custom seat will make a big difference to the looks.
Check the link below for ideas from Corbin - once open go to 'street by brand' on the left - heaps of pictures.

you guys are looking at the wrong stuff! its not about the looks, its about how crazy go nuts fast it goes :D so your kinda shit outta luck :S
but still, engine work buddy! Port and polish, engine blueprinting, head skim, high compression pistons (no idea where you will find em), big fuck off carb rail, straight through exhaust (custom made ofcourse, just drill two holes in the pipe to mount a baffle so it looks like there is NO muffler).
Brakes, measure em up, im sure brembo make something that will fit with a bit of hammering, galfer rotors.
If you wanna get REAL hardcore, you could get those sprockets which are both sprockets and brake discs, not to my personal taste however.
I like ratbikes myself. Un sanitized but fucken fly. EG why i wanna aquire a early GSXR750 or 1100 at some point.
Shocks? Talk to mr ohlins and Mr Marzochi
Dude, pretty much, theres a shit load of stuff you can do to your 250 to make it yours that DOESNT cost that much. You dont need other people doing your work for you, paint it, swap out brakes, drill out the baffle.
I would just say get the carb done by a pro if you dont feel up to it.
Really dude, just save your pennies and buy a bigger bike, then do that up something viscous.
Just my 2c, peace out!

No disrespect but throwing that type of money into the engine & shocks on the Bandit 250 is well, unnecessary - I hear where you are going but if you want the extra power you could trade and get a Bandit 400 or 600. Heck you can get a GS1200ss for $7K.
Now take that 1200 engine and slot that into your 250 frame.....:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Closest fit would probably be a GSX 400 engine?
He's right, save the cash, get a 600 or something. 250's are slow.

Are you serious?
I'd be pretty iffy as to whether the frame would take it - designed for a 250cc motor, not a 600.

Yes, but that's a psychopathic baby-eating two-stroke GP replica frame, with a nice mild Honda thumper in it. As opposed to a round-town four-stroke frame and a directly scaled-up (by more than twice) version of the same motor.

Wow Xerxes... you make that NSR chassis sounds like motogp technology.
oh and 98TLS you will be wanting to change that muffler really quickly.. something to do with the proximity to the ground :p

Well, it's a Honda, innit? Just like my 250RS
You get my point, though. GSX600 into a 250 Bandit is not likely to result in a well-balanced machine that goes around corners and stops.

I love my bandit, just not sure if I would waste money on it. I think I would rather save to go towards my new bike when I get my full.
However I love the red, so make sure you keep that. Havent seen to many red ones around, but I would have gotten a red one if I could!

i get where you're coming from - i love to customise my bikes. damn near streetfightered my fxr150!! its just that it may end up being a waste of money. in reality, the second you get your full you're gonna be looking for a bigger bike anyway..might just be better to be patient till then.
also - if you're gonna go for it, don't bother with a tyga tail..they're far too expensive for something like this, you could buy a cbr1000rr tail section (which, lets face it, is pretty much the same thing) for half the price.
