I think I need to get some accessories from them soon.

I don't think that's really her. She doesn't seem to be wearing the same uniform.

I think if I was working with her I'd look a lot more thrilled to be there than those other guys.

Surely that's false advertising.

Dude, riding for four hours in the pissing wet to have them not fix the shocks is bad service. I dunno why people keep getting fixated on this damn coffee thing. It's not like there's a shortage of coffee in Wellington.

The guy listed it like it was an issue. Sure the other thing is bad, but the coffee comment was there to make up the numbers.

When I was buying the 750 I went in there to text ride the 636 or 10 as a comparison. Was in leathers with helmet, gloves etc. Looked at the bikes, looked at the helmets, tried on some helmets, not one sales person came over to ask if I was ok.
Sure I could have asked for help, but I figure it's the sales persons job to get off there arses and serve.
Walked out thirsty.

That's a shame because I've heard that the coffee on offer is quite good....

Shows I don't need to go there much now with no Hondas or Yamahas so when did the other girls like Mitch and Hazel leave?

We go over and over and over this subject on KB.
Someone else would have walked in, been spoken to and then whinged about pushy, smothering salesmen.
I like to call ahead and book test rides.

I see they are also advising they have NEW BMW bikes in the showroom but i wonder where the factory support is going to come from in light of them not being a dealer. !!!! Hmmm

Depends really. I too had to fight for the right to buy the Zed. Thankfully bistard was still there and alerted the Kawasaki salesman to the weirdo on the Zed making brrrrrm noises and waving a fistful of cash and grunting at a Red R6 that was mysteriously parked next to the Zed, despite not being on the stock register.
I hate being smothered, but some salesmen are able to put the average grumpy motorcyclist at ease instantly with a bit of banter. When you hit a certain age they throw the keys to a demo at you. This particular shop doesn't let anyone ride anything. I spent $29000 in two years and still got looked at like a fish.

Yes; in my case, at least with the Auckland bike shops, that age appears to be 26.
It's most refreshing.

They do sound like complete twats.
I have made a mental note to avoid them if I'm ever buying a bike in the capital.

So jealousy amongst girls is still alive and well then?
As for the shop, now it has the yellow dashed no parking lines outside I'd say its doomed as a business at that location anyway and I would hope they are looking for new premises, but then I needn't worry any more now they don't sell my brands of bike. Shame, Brendan and Carl were nice guys.

I think Jim described the situation nicely as well.
I agree about the pushy sales people, I hate car yards for that reason. But this really is the other end of the spectrum.

I've brought six bikes over the years from them. They still don't know who I am. Well Stinky does; but that's cos he moved there from a bike shop.

I have heard that, yet when Sawyers was attached to them they gladly let me test ride the KR150.... Luckily they didnt know my history huh! Glen is a good guy, but I think that this may only be because I used to work with his sister. Like Jim, I too was a good customer of theres but they treated me like crap the last few times I used them and I find there service less than sastisfactory. Shop staff/sales people are mediocre but the work shop below average.
I have had great experiences with every other bike shop that I have dealt with though!
