Oakie

An update on the theft of Mrs Oakie's Eliminator back on 28 Sept:
Two arrests were made in November as reported earlier.
One guy has pled guilty and will be appearing for sentencing on the afternoon of 10 January. He is remanded in custody until then so regardless of the outcome, will have spent a month without freedom which Mrs Oakie finds appropriate as she spent a month without her freedom (bike). He is also appearing on other un-related charges
The other guy has pled 'not guilty' despite the bike frame being found in his garage, despite his mate already pleading guilty and despite being linked to the van which has now been found. (There are also a couple of other 'despites' which I'm not free to mention at this time). Understandably, the detective handling the case is reasonably confident of a good outcome! He goes to court on 20 March at this stage.
We'll advise the outcomes as they happen.
