I had a wee chat with a bloke in the know at work today who informed me the plod are planning to give the clevedon-kaiaua road and the coro loop a hammering this crissy, specifically after bikes. Just a wee heads up if either gp is on the plans this summer.

No excuse now if you hit a cop pulling a U turn.

SH22 is a horrible little goat track of doom.

Thats brilliant news, hopefully that might result in a few less bins from KBrs who are deluded over what roads are for :2thumbsup

Both those roads are far to full over this xmas period to have any fun on anyways.

Personally im not to worried cause I am a good law abideing citizen that would never speed because it would anger the goods and a small puppy will die.

Maybe they are just trying to make use of the half of the NZ police force that will be stationed in all the coromandal townships over the new years

It won't have to in your case - and even if the bike is going you'll only see the cop car after you've binned your bike when they arrive with fire and ambo....

with about 100 extra cops on the peninsula over the break, there's always heaps of patrolling.

it's too busy up there then anyway, unless it's 5am - then you only have to dodge the fresh roadkill, damp corners, and drunk auckland drivers.

Those extra cops, they come from other areas? Like, where ?
