Hey all, here's a potential tricky one...
Ok, so I have a Suzuki Intruder 250LC. Not a big bike, granted, but since I'm still on an L Plate I'm happy with what I have.
Thing is, I need some saddle bags or something, and it seems the mounting kits/racks etc aren't easy to come by for my bike (at least, they aren't in Dunners).
Any suggestions?

Some bar and a welder, and a bit of imagination?

I have a feeling that's what it'll come down to. Still, it's worth asking, eh?

Throw-over panniers don't require fittings or fixtures. Just don't buy the Ventura ones.

Okie dokie...are they up high enough to be kept off the shockies?
From what I gather, that's the main purpose of some mounting frames, to keep from rubbing chrome off...
Thanks though, I'll have to look into it

my virago ended up having a givi rack for my top box, and had saddle brackets custom added. its the only rack of its kind, and they also had the whole lot chromed. ive got willie and max leather zip-offs, but im going to be getting some oxford expandables for touring.
any decent bike mechanic should be able to knock something together for you. the woman who had my bike before me had put saddles on, and they had rubbed the hell outta the fender paint, which in turn let a little rust in. get brackets if you can, to protect from rubbing.
