The bike shops around here are hit and miss in their service TBH.
Mstrs' bike is currently languishing at Five Star Suzuki. You could try there...
Welcome to the neighbourhood BTW

I'd suggest Eriksson Honda in Bayview...although they have been known to issue a WOF to a bike with seriously shagged fork seals.
I dunno....maybe YT is right, it's just luck on the day.

I deal with Hastings Honda, not only are they good at what they do with all brands of bikes, but Roger there knows everything about Hondas :niceone:

Welcome to the Bay

I agree with the hit n miss statement.

Dealerships here vary somewhere between shocking and barely passable.

Picking a good day is just luck.

Why is that????

I ride with guys who even take their bikes outta the bay for servicing because of the indifferent service.

I bought my last New Bike outside of the bay also, mostly because the dealer here couldn't be bothered gettin off his ass.

Welcome to the bay, enjoy the roads and have fun on ya bike.

Decent yes. But they charge heaps for parts. You can get same parts for 1/2 price elswhere...

My recommendation: Learn to fix her your self.

I also know someone with a decent CB250N that he is wanting to sell. Could make the parts issue simple?? Only needs a chain and sprockets. PM me if U are interested.

the majority of parts i will get from Econohonda & i have just fully rebuilt my bike on my own
however i have an issue that i cant seem to resolve so i need a professional :D
its always nice to know who's ears to bend to get info
I need someone to check my cam timing atm... it runs but not as well as it should be

Hey MSTRS, Ericksens don't issue warrants. They have them done 'outside'. Cheers.

Fair enough....BUT they having replaced front brake pads for purposes of obtaining a wof, an idiot would have seen the oil liberally coating the forks and done something abouit that. No, they just had the wof issued. So, that makes TWO idiots out Bayview way.

Bought my first motocross bike from Whittakers, which meant driving up from Wellington on the advice of a friend and but did not regret it. For that reason I am unfamiliar with the bay's other stores. Good luck anyway.
