Yup, she's on the market cheap.
Perfect for town although she's done a fair bit of long trips to Auck & the Far North. Has only just done 20,000km, needs some plastic welding done on rear left fairing which is taped up at the moment & the blade needs to be attatched (I recieved it just yesterday). Usual wear and tear, scratches down exhaust cover etc. from a few droppages. Will post pics this weekend.
Comes with 2nd pair of straight forks, will need to replace the left stauntion on the original pair if need be.
Nothing wrong performance-wise, all I would suggest is to clean the carbie out to gain maximum performance.
That's about all I can think of at the moment.
Any questions welcome!
Asking $1800.
Might be able to deliver to Auck depending on work shedule.

Oh nah nah brother, it's just that I might have the GSF250 Bandit tomorrow :niceone:. And you know what, I was told to get it by my lovely girl!
Will be in Auck tomorrow to inspect it at Frosty's car yard.
Want a quick sale, test rides will be available as the FXR will be staying in Auckland for a few weeks.

Hopefully, I'd rather not be bikeless if I was to sell my bike now though. It would be fine if I had my car liscence but I have to wait until the 15th of Jan to get my restricted so I can drive that bomb sitting in the driveway.

Yes it is still in Auckland, it will be until it is sold. It is currently in Frosty's care so contact him for more info.
As for current pics, I'll be in Auck this weekend. I might pop round to see her and take pictures of her current state.

I'd pay around $1800 if you can get it down to Queenstown, or even Christchurch if possible. BTW, this is not a definite sale, still have to borrow the money off Dad :baby: but should be sweet. I'm only 15, do you think I'd be able to lift this if it fell on my leg or something while riding? I don't want to buy a bike where I can't even lift it up, and have to get strangers to lift my own bike off me.

you would be amazed what you can lift when you have it, i have lifted my old bike which was 226kgs dry, so add 2 litres of coolent, 4 litres oil, and about 17 litres of fuel, i picked that off the ground,
The fxr is not a very heavy bike, you would be able to lift it easy

grr would've loved to have this bike, but my 'finances' just fell through in the way of my parents taking a trip to Papau New Guinea, and so having no money to lend to son at no interest. Have to save it all up myself....damn. Got work in 1.5 hours at New World, will earn....$82.50 before tax...$68.75 after tax... need $1500... so... save about $50 after expenses...take me 30 nine hour days till i can afford it. which is about 10 weeks. That's a long time... If you haven't sold your FXR in 10 weeks email me.
