Not I. Far rather leave it up to someone who's much more of an ars...upstanding citizen than myself! If you're offering me the bike, though... :chase:

Me thinks that some don't believe their own propaganda. Great role models for the rest of us, eh?

But wait theres more... A few days later a tow truck turned up at Hbr Brdg base and towed the two police bikes to the impound yard where they remained for 28 days as the riders were charged under the street racing act (two bikes at that speed were considered to be racing).
Cracks me up that does!!!:killingme

Why do they impound the bikes if they are not owned by the offenders?

Untill you have a laugh and share the story with some of your collegues at the station that is. A more honest and upstanding lawman decided this was not on and filed a report with his Senior Sgt regarding the incident.Haha, so they were done in by hear say. Shouldn't be surprised, it's the bosses that are pillocks, not the cops themselves
In all seriousness, they're dirty speeders that should be castrated for threatening the lives of poor babies by speeding.

One of the officers is NOT in fact at a desk job in Orewa but is now working on TAG (Tactical Alcohol Group), my cousin is his boss. He was suspended from driving for 28 days, and during that time did not drive a police vehicle. He has decided that he will remain on TAG now as it is easy work.
This cracks me up... I love it!

The cop who witnessed said incident let it go 'when he saw it was cop bikes'...
What was your point again?

I'm quite impressed how they do that "secret handshake" from different vehicles whilst at high speed...

That we CAN turn a blind eye - regardless of WHO it is....
But then a shit-load of those who I've turned a blind eye to will never know it..
