I had only just sorted the rg150, installed a second hand motor with 12k on the clock. I made sure it had crank oil this time..........lol

Wasn't idling too well so i turned the revs up a bit and this sorted the problem. All was going well, when I decided to take it for a slow ride (15kmh) on grass on the side of the road with a pilion. PLEASE DONT TELL ME HOW MUCH OF AN IDIOT I AM FOR TAKING A PILLION ON A 150!!!! Anyways, I hadn't ridden in three months so I was quite rusty and made the old newbie mistake again, up from first straight into neutral. I overreved it in neutral. clever. Pulled the clutch in, into first again, slowly let the clutch out as the bike starts to pull away BOOM! It backfired and cut out.

It now starts but doesnt idle. It will not continue to run in neutral with no revs. As soon as the clutch is let out in first it backfires and cuts out again. Basically its not going anywhere. Anybody have any ideas what the problem is.......????

.......????

What are you talking about Willis?

Surely you mean Gearbox oil?

Strokers hate to be over reved with no load on the motor.
Pistons hate the high speed and let go.

Buy a 4 stroke. At the end of the day all two strokes go Clack.
