Well went out riding at kimmys on monday. Day didn't start too good. Had four bikes and two with flattys to start with. Got my one going but the other one lost a wheel bush so back on the trailer with that. Just when I got mine going one of the others got a flat so on the trailer with that one:pinch:.

Rode for a while and shared bikes. Went for one LAST lap round he motocross track. Kinda went WAY too fast over the step up. Landed hard and had no braking room. Locked back wheel up but from what i remenba my hands went over the handle bars , smackt straight into the berm with my face/arms followed by the bikes force. Stuck under bike and couldn't move right arm, very painfull.

Guy got my bike off me, got taken back by jeep thing. Called ambo and got taken to waikato :doctor:. Drugged up on way there and before they re-located my right shoulder. Also had pain in left hand/wrist but they didn't want to know about it :oi-grr:.

Next day I go back to Thames hospital and get xrays. Turns out have a broken wrist on left arm.

All in all I am pretty much a cripple with one arm in a sling that can hardly support its own weight and another in a cast up to my elbow.

Merry christmas to me! :crybaby:

Hope you get well soon CaMo.

I smashed my ankle up pretty bad a Kimmy's a few years back. Was off work for 3 months and still can't walk properly. Kimmy's sucks. It's all the tracks fault of course

Oh CaMo, what a bugger..... The wrist will heal ok, but you're going to have your work cutout to get the shoulder working again, I knackered mine in a similar way back in '92, took a while to get strong again and I can now forecast the weather with it.... Chin up and get well soon.....

...took a while to get strong again and I can now forecast the weather with it...

i use my pet rock to do that
if the rock is wet, its raining. if its hot, it means it sunny etc :)

only been to Kimmys twice, both times helped someone get ambo'd out with broken bones (on the loop rather than the motox track).

Yeah sorry to hear bro, I felt for you when I you told me (xmas eve too of all days):innocent:

Another comrad falling to the step up haha

you're going to have your work cutout to get the shoulder working again

Yeah the sad part is he already knows this as his other shoulder has already been dislocated in the past:shit: Him and I use to crack up because both our left shoulders we bung. I popped mine out about a month ago on the motocross track at kimmys (it's been years since my last dislocation before that) :innocent:

Poor guys gonna have two gammy shoulders now... I know one is hard enough to cope with. All I can say is go to the physio and ACTUALLY do what they say... I didn't and wish I did haha

cheers fellas.

Yea my other shoulder had a similar thing when I fell off over a drop some time ago. Didn't stay popped out till the hospital like this one tho. It kinda clunked back in when I got up and quickly moved my arm. It did screw my ligiments and crack the gissle stuf around my shoulder socket which doesn't heal so still gives me greif. This time my arm wouldn't move and was prolly the most pain I have felt haha. Hope no other damage like the last time.

Its alot less sore once popped back in but is soo god dam weak and I can hardly lift it upwards much.

Oh well. Give me a while and I will be back up and running:clap:
