I could swear I saw a cop car with an "L " plate the other day....( mind you i swear a fair bit anyways)
I know the police is getting younger all the time, but still....
Does that mean they have to arrest adults with a full licence so they can drive you on their own back to the lock-up?
Mind you maybe I am just getting old....,or maybe i just took my celebrating a bit to serious....

Thanks mate , that restores my faith in the strong arm of the law somewhat... I was worried about not being able to call for assistance after 10 pm ....so what about those blocks on the pedals? can they go to...?:Police:

It could have been just an off duty policeguy who has a car for his own use and he is teaching the daughter to drive in the weekend. I think its simple like this. No offence to cops reading this but they dont have that much imagination to start using L on the cars. They dont have imagination to switch from holdens to towota or nissan, let alone this. Cmon guys dont get worried.

Be Safe

A couple of years ago they took on a cadet wing of 17 - 19 year olds. A couple of them still had 1R licences when they went to the college but other than these couple of exceptions you do need to have a full licence to work as a cop.

I think so.. should also make them 'manual' too.

The amount of wally women at my work that cant drive a stick is scary... everytime a client has an appointment its 'aww I cant drive a stick *moan* *moan*'

Drives ME nuts. jeesh.

Why limit yourself by not learning how to drive a manual... idiots... :Pokey:

Where do you work???

I know what you mean about women drivers. Those ones give the rest of us chicks a bad name.

I noticed one thing about the difference between men and women when it comes to doing stupid shit that causes (or nearly causes..) accidents.

With the guys I've found more often than not that they will just be plain rude. By this I mean they will see you but do whatever it is wrong anyway especially when it comes to who has right of way.

With women ( I really hate to say this but so far it hasn't been proven otherwise...) any way, with women they are outright oblivious. If it's not the "oh my god!!" look on their face when they finally see you they're actually admitting they didn't see you when you ask them just 'what did they think they were doing back there?'

Then you got those silly little twerps affectionately(??) known as boy racers who try to out-gun you at the lights. Never done a physics class in their short little lives to understand a little thing known as the power-to-weight ratio.... Though at least that gives me a good laugh not to mention this nice little smerk on my face at the time... Although I must admit I get the most glee when I sit in the little wee Mirage I use (if I wanted a bigger car I would have to sell the bike.... need I say more.....) and beat them of the lights with that...
