Hey guys,

Had a great ride today around diamond harbour and alike,

I wouldnt mind the 18l tank as well, do you guys buy in NZ or offshore?

Most buy offshore through the American sites as our dollar isn't doing so bad, best if you can get in with a few others to spread the cost of shipping.

Some US sites will have it quicker to your door than ordering within NZ.

You do get use to the seat I have ridden to the Brass Monkey on the std seat.
Some put the old sheep skin on the seat and that helps.
Or get someone to change the foam for a bout $60.
Have read that some have been disappointed with a gel seat for the price you have to pay.

I got mine from AMPS, for $189.95 delivered!
Clint says that they've gone up to $240 - but that's still value for money in my book.

I've also bought stuff of www.ktm-parts.com which I highly recommend.

Edit - here's the part: http://www.ktm-parts.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=K&Product_Code=57907340000&Category_Code=

US$93.99 plus shipping.

One of the best there is anywhere in the world: http://www.ktm-sommer.de/Seiten_07/f_sommer_start_07.html

I've bought heaps of parts from them for both my 640SM and 950 SM.

The site is in German but mostly self explanatory. If needs be, you could use an online translator.

Now that is a cool site.
A KTM toaster?

Who woulda thunk it?

Munn Racing's Online Shop (http://65.57.254.60/munnracing/) has a clickable microfiche. KTMTalk (http://ktmtalk.com/) members get 15% discount. Only bought a couple of small things from them, but the service was first class.

Thunderbike have one of those toasters, they aren't allowed to test it! $140 is a bit much for a bit of garage bling :bye:
