Like millions of others around the world I resolve to LOSE WEIGHT. That's the number one resolution in 1st world nations. I'm 10kgs podgier than I was this time last year.

Also:
Learn to ride on gravel. 'Cos it scares me.

Don't fall off all year. (averaging one broken bone per year at the moment)

Get a girlfriend and keep her. (must be of her free will, so not in a cage or anything.) (Although if she's into that kind of thing...)

Spend more time on my mental health and less time drinking beer to avoid my problems. mmm... delicious problem-avoidance-flavoured beer. mmmm...

Say Yes to all invitations, so I become less of a homebody. I'll become the YES MAN!

Spend a maximum of one hour per day on Kiwi Biker. I spend way too much time bullshitting here.

Hmm... that's all I think.

But Colapop, it's a traditional kiwi... um... tradition.
You have to make resolutions and then forget them a week later. Or the next day. It's nigh-on compulsory. Resolutions and forgetting them are as much a part of the season as ham, pav and prezzies.

Steam mate, if you are serious, then good luck to you. Healthy body healthy mind is my motto. I am about 4Kg plus from last year. I have an excuse, as my knee is buggered and is preventing me from serious exercise. Need to reduce the food intake - Big time!

Why make statements that you have no intention of standing by? It's like making nice to people at xmas and new years even though you wouldn't give them the time of day any other time of the year... I am who I is to all, all the time. I don't make resolutions at new years coz I already have goals...
