Hello,
I really really really want to lose the other 'zorst. Has anybody got two-into-one headers for the CB250RS kicking around? With silencer, without silencer, rusty, not rusty, any sort of condition considered.
Let me move some shit out of your garage.
Cheers.

have you considered useing the headers off a xr or xl think the xr ones are slightly bigger diameter would make running a low pipe difficult though

Waaaay overpriced (edit -- not now, it was overpriced in previous auctions. $1200 is good). Obviously neglected -- has been `garaged most of its life', so that means sitting around until the oil gums up and the tank has rusted away. Plus, it's stock standard original. I've got enough bits to build two complete original bikes (albeit in need of a paint job).

Yeah I've heard that the XL cylinder head has small exhaust ports. Would make sense as it's tuned for lower RPM (max 20hp). Does the XR have same diameter as CB then? Would be OK for a scrambler look, but would be a bit weird on something that's eventually going for a café racer look; plus I think the pipe goes right through where my swingarm/electrical stuff is.

Unfortunately $700 is a hell of a lot of money, especially when you see CB250N Motad 2-into-1s go for less than fifty pounds on eBay.

Besides, Custom Chambers will be this completely beautifuly finished, mandrel-bent stainless steel masterpiece; I don't need that, all I need is a simple joining of two pipes into one wot I'll sand and paint black and fit a Taiwanese Dunstall reverse-cone copy on the back.
