Oh well was a excellent weekend riding & was only 18kms over the limit.(need a radar detector).

the cop was comin the other way in his car,he clocked me comin round a corner & pulled over before I got to him,
He did let me off no rego wich was good of him.

Have things changed in the insurance world or does it depend on the company?

I wrote a bike off some years ago and had no WOF at the time - insurance company paid out in full.

My partner also works in insurance and she said that if you are drunk behind the wheel and someone slams into you, your covered by your insurance as being drunk was not the cause of the crash. Regardless as to whether you should have been on the road or not...
