I have the document somewhere in the house, only open roads accident figs are used... TT is on closed roads so they are not included.. however the TT fortnight casualites are always much higher than any other time of the year, this is not rocket science tho, anywhere up to 15000 bike on an Island 35 miles long by 12 miles wide...... suprised there are not more to be honest as our roads are very demanding...
shame it's our winter now or I'd go for a lap to celebrate :niceone:

WTF!!1!!!
They're introducing speed cameras next year? Why? There's NO speedlimit. Juan, go bitch slap them for me pleassee.
If they wreak the place before I've had a chance to visit I'll go postal on their asses.
Call me cynical, but this looks like a "uh oh, there's a huge public outcry against this, so lets drop it and find a way of implimenting behind the publics back".

Why on earth would they need speed cameras? To make tourist think 'shit, speed camera, better slow down'?

There are speed limits in built up areas, and most of the way round the TT course, for safety reasons you understand  Stiil the mountain section is still speed limit free :msn-wink: :innocent:

Quite right too. They should ban speed altogether.
It's a proven fact that Speed Kills.

Ah but is also proven that it's not the speed that kills but the usual sudden stop at the point of impact... therefore we should ban stopping...OK?
