but I thought I should link it thru here.
My New Years resolutions, such as they were, are to get fitter, and rid my life of clutter. Since I havent ridden the 400 since April last year, its time to move it on.
I think its reasonably priced for what it is (esp considering it owes me $4000:here is a hint, never keep receipts, or if you do, never add up the total!).
anyway its in christchurch and anyone is welcome to view.
details are in the tardme (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=134506102) ad.
I also have another CB400F in bits, good cosmetically, mechanically unknown, which I want to get rid of as well. Looking for offers around $1500 for that.

Nah, Ive thought long and hard about this (believe me), and Ive come to the conclusion I dont want to collect stuff I am not using. I'm one of those fortunate people where money isn't too much of a problem (hey, we can all use more, right?) but the biggest issue for me is time. My work is generally very busy, there are a couple of other things I need to do in my leisure time and I want to spend more time with my partner this year, so......
Let someone else get the use out of it. ... my plan is to get down to three motorbikes: a track only/race (or raceable) bike, a sporty road bike (I have a VFR400R, also in bits), and a tourer/two up/go slow look at the scenery bike (a Guzzi California or Triumph Scrambler or even (quelle horreur!!) an H-D.
Its what passed for New Years revolutions for me.

I think four bikes should be the lower limit, an adventure or trail bike as well:niceone:

I thought I would give this a bump in case anyone was watching the thing on tardme and wondering why I pulled it from auction before closing.
I went to check it over tonight so I could get a WOF tomorrow morning, and the headlight wouldnt go. I spent an hour faffing about and still no go. No light equals no WOF equals me not being able to honour my sales blurb on tardme.
I will have to sort it out then re-list it. (Or I may sell the other one and then I dont need to sell this one.... hmmmmm)
