New years Eve in Palmy ....

Right .... I am going to do this .... :eek: but I need to know if there is any interest :spudwhat: .... I have heaps of room ... 2 tents that would hold 6 each and a house and BBQ !! ... I'm working on a band but I'm not going to hold my breath until I get some idea of the interest :stoogie: ... I will post a pic of the site, it is outside my back door literally !! so if you want to bring your own tent then that is cool, I do have a decent sound system and plenty of music, both CD and LP plus mini disc as well. There is plenty of secure parking too .. both for 2 and 4 wheeled types and kids are most welcome ... :baby: my 4 will be there so the more the merrier !! I have warned the neighbours and they are keen as!! So if you are into it let me know ... :mobile: I was thinking of making it a couple of days worth of fun starting on the 30th ....I have access to a golf course with a mini putt as well. If you have a tent then all good because there is plenty of space for them ... I can probably organise at least 1 more 6 berth tent as well .... As there was some generousity from certain quarters earlier on in the year for me to attend a track day that was washed out I will provide condiments and salads using those funds :niceone: ... if this doesn't come about then I will donate them to Spank's fund for the site.

Oh yeah, "they" make me tell you, but you'll get a taser too, incase I try and escape (only the one time I promise)...

Don't worry though, it's not as much work as it sounds. Normally by 11pm, I've already caused enough of a disturbance for the cops to be called, and I'd have been taken away and locked up.

On a more serious note, is there anything you need Hooks? I'll come by car, so don't mind bringing stuff, or coming early to help. I would greatly appreciate a space in one of the tents upon my confirmation :yes:

In principle I will be there. Depends on weather - we're spending the week or so after Wanganui following the sun round the North Island (there'll be three of us - me, Hamish and Smiley)

Won't need any tent space (don't do tents!) and happy to bring our own food/drink.

Hi hooks, I would be very interested in coming as I am new to palmerston north and new to riding and would love to meet everyone and know where the good rides are. At the moment i just ride around town and have been to bulls once (only been riding about 10 days now). There is a chance i will be in auckland with my parents at the time, but hopefully not! If you are organising any rides before then or just going for a ride and don't mind a tag along pm me, that goes for all palmy riders.

I had prepared to organize to go to the racing on boxing day
but just bought a house (i think ) so that buggerd my plans, my sister lives
just outside of the race city so seemed like a good idear to stay at her place
as they are going out of the country for four weeks
then my partner just found out her brother is going to shout?
her a trip to the US to visit so unless some one can feed my cats i am stuffed. ( plus look after my new house)
