How often does this happen to you?

You're minding your own business and you get a call.
He - What are you up to?
Me - Sitting around waiting for your call.
He - Well, would you go to Mt Eden Motorcycles and pick up my brand new bike. I'd like you to put as many km on it as you can today and tomorrow.
Me - I couldn't possibly, well ok. Any particular running in routine? Just follow manufacturers instructions?
He - Ride it like you stole it.

Well there may have been other running in instructions prior to that, but I only heard that last part.
Sigh - it's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it.

Anyone up for a ride tomorrow - sorry, but you'll be on your own bike though.

Yeah I run bikes in for a living, so anyone wanting their bike run in, you know who to call. Reasonable rates, all care and no responsibility.

It was a ZX6R.

Nice work Noel, i really do hope you rode it like you stole it :)

Cos when i get hold of him i'm gonna knee cap him ! I and numerous others spent near on an hour looking for my bike key, ripped my bike, wagon and surrounding areas apart looking for it. Only for someone to produce it from his pocket.. after i'd missed the first session
