Hi to all that read this post. I live in England and own a Honda H100a 1980 model, I have owned the bike from new, and have recently restored the bike to it's origanal condition. I wonder does anyone remember this bike or still own one. I believe it was introduced in New Zealand in 1980 and was known as The MB100 and not named H100A. I have recently started a new website for H100 and Mb100 owners past and present. please go and take a look at my site: WWW.HONDAH100AOWNERSCLUB.CO.UK And please tell me what you think. Any sudgestions would be gratfully recieved. Regards Neil
PS: I have a forum on my site and it needs a kickstart, so if when you visit, if you wouldn't mind leaving a message in the forum, I would be very gratefull. thank's

Should allow guest posting until it's got a few posts ;].
Sounds pretty niche though, could be fun. You'd be better off posting in the Buckets section I think. Haven't seen many MB5's / MB100's around that aren't in race trim!

MB100 and H100 are different bikes although they are similar

What's the story of the MB100 then? I've seen precious little information around about them. Are they some sort of South-East Asian model, then imported into NZ cheaply?

Hi, The MB100a was produced and exported by Honda, certainly to South Africa, and to New Zealand. I managed to get a parts number catalogue from Levin , north island, New Zealand The only one in the world that could track down. The bike was introduced as a commuter bike in England in the Feb of 1980. According to the parts catalogue the photo of the MB100a is exactly the same as the H100A except for the decals on the side panels. The seat also was diffrent, depending to which country it was being exported too. There are other differences, certainly as far as the part numbers go. If anyone knows any diffrent, I will be pleased to know about it.
