I have a 1983 XT550 motor that I am rebuilding and need some engine parts, namely a clutch or parts of it, an oversize piston or a good piston and barrel combo, and the kick start idler gear - the previous owner must have had it apart as this is completely missing which makes kicking it over a bit pointless.
I guess I really need a spare motor that has had a top end episode or something like that.
I will probably get my barrel bored slightly and fit a larger piston, never done that before but it must be fairly straight forward.
