Mentor wanted in/near Remuera, Auckland

Hey all!

Just wondering if there are any mentor riders in/near remuera. I'm learning alot by myself but was wondering if any mentors are keen on helping me build confidence in the corners and making sure that i am doing the right things. Also some emergency braking practice would be great. As much as riding around the city areas is boring, it does allow oneself to develop vital skills. I would be very grateful for any mentors keen on cruising once a week or every couple weeks.

There are currnetly no official KB mentors as we are busy re-structuring the programme.

You can wait till its done and contact someone on the official list... However there are quite a few great riders who could help you right now in their personal capacity.

I'd be happy to ride with you in a personal capacity until the KB mentor program is started up again. Not sure when I'd fit it in but I'm sure I can find some time after work or something.

You'd have to be prepared to walk before you run though. I think you want to get the basics sorted before even contemplating anything else. This would mean going to either a Monday or Wednesday session (I'll come along if you want) to hone up the cornering/braking/low speed skills.
