Im flying up to meet a mate in wellington on tuesday, renting a new commodore and road tripping it up to auckland:cool:

who are the bands/people you most want to see?
for me my must see's are Rage Against The Machine(Fuck yeah wanted to see them live since i was 14!), Supergroove, Anti-flag, Unkle and the Mint chicks, dizzee rascal, krafty cuts etc :Punk::Punk::Punk:

Bring water. At woodstock 99 water cost more than beer, dunno what it's like for BDO. But dont dehydrate.

Invest in a back pack full of water mate!

BDO rocks out big time, I worry every year my kids attend.

They always have the best time ever! Sunblock and lots of water!!!!

Look for Enter Shikari too. Good band.

Bring sunscreen, money, a unopened water bottle. You get free refills inside.

Plan what bands you want to see, otherwise you'll end up missing out.

not going this year , have been to 10 BDO since started , always a good day, seen rage a couple of times now :headbang:, take comfy shoes as its a long time on your feet, as others said , opened water will be taken off you at gate, take lots of water and lots of DRUGS :woohoo:

Yep, loads of water, sunblock, a hat and your boggying shoes. Don't expect to get drunk unless you can smuggle your own in (stupid long ques) and go to the toilets about half an hour before you actually need to go. Have fun!!!

Best take on this i've ever seen was when a mate took a 3L bottle of Orange Juice, pricked a hole in the bottom of the bottle with a large syringe, drained half the bottle of juice, then painstakingly injected 1.5L of Vodka back into the bottle through the same hole.

He then sealed the bottom of the bottle with a drop from a hot glue gun. Ingenious, and it worked brilliantly, we were toasted at the cricket by 10am.
