Why not. If you don't have a licence, it doesn't matter what bike you have.

Seriously, I don't understand how you get the money to do this, considering that you are unemployed. How do you do it?

it belongs to a mate i'm just helping do it up.
but i may acquire it lol
i don't have a license for a long time and not on full anyways.
and brett i need a bigger bike as soon as i can.
ive found the zxr's limits.
it's no longer a challenge for me whatsoever.
takes the fun outta it in a way when you know the bike too well...
and a 250 just lacks the power too much.
i have been riding more than 2.5 years. i dunno i'm still deciding lol

I bet the broken 250 lacks the power, plod and everyone else will have fun if ya get caught/screwup on the 600 :msn-wink:
If the crash has munted the front wheel and disks, are the forks any good anymore? headstock cracked? or are you in need of a entire front end? Ebay has many sets, some quite cheap. Does anything else fit? GSXR1000 rims perhaps?

all up in the air at the moment to be honest
hard to buy things without a job.

Not to distract the thread...jobs *should* be easily come by at present, unemployment is so bloody low. Anyone with half a desire to work should be able to find something, as a storeman, labourer etc as a minimum!

Not to buy into that urban legend too much, but it is the reason I will be looking at Honda or Kwaka for my next upgrade. Silly? Maybe.

it's a do up and sell.
i would not keep riding it, the frame snapping problem would always be on my mind to be honest.

Urban legend.
believe me after what happened to dan and first hand witness accounts and talking to structral egineers who have viewed the bike, it is not myth.

If it wasn't a myth then action would've been taken against Suzuki already, especially in America. It's a myth.

is that why there have been recalls in some countrys?
onearmedbandit

Wasn't aware of any actual recalls for frame issues. If there where, then fair enough.

Back to the origonal question.
Frosty suggested giving Norm a yell. Look on tard me for gixxer forks. He brings in a heap of second hand stuff.
