Can I just say that life is wonderful and for all it's faults I much prefer living in New Zealand. Both my race-bikes are borked and I'm too skint at the moment to have them fixed nor afford a road bike but I've been making good use of the spare time to jump on my scabby old horse.

I've just had three weeks off work, my bike is in perfect running order and going on a dyno next week to stop it being jerky (although, I kinda like it sometimes), and is bright and shiny, my health has been good all holiday, I have a load of awesome mates and a fantastic loving husband and a cute arse cat. Life couldn't be better!!! (oh, OK, the Lotto ticket sitting in my piece of shit car could be a winner and I may have won 12 million, but aside from that, Life's farkin fantastic!!)

Nah, but seriously, in addition to the alcohol;
Tomorrow I go away on a course for a week, I love courses!
Learning is fun!

The one starting tomorrow is a "Dharma Gathering", which is a week of Buddhist meditation, discussion, teaching, and they make a big mandala which is then destroyed at the end of the course.
Interesting! I wish I could learn things forever. But I need to work I suppose.

Took my 4 boys to Spash Planet in Hastings for the day. Now home and working on a bike. Dinner is on stove, beer in fridge and money in the bank! I am alive, I have a 4 week holiday, I have a DVD to watch tonight, I will have some company, it is summer and sunny.

You woke up this morning
The world turned upside down,
Thing's ain't been the same
Since the Blues walked into town.

But you're one in a million
You've got that shotgun shine.
Born under a bad sign,
With a blue moon in your eyes.

Um... I actually managed to do some work at work today. In between posting bollix on KB, of course!
That's an ACHIEVEMENT that is! (Working, not the bollix.. )

And I saved a piece of chocolate brownie for the wife, even though the evil food-crazy Rusul at work tried desperately hard to snaffle it. :niceone:
"NO!!" I said, "You can't have it! If I give it to my wife I get brownie points, whereas all I get from you is annoyance!"

What else?
Oh - I bought some new gloves! Woohoo!
Now my evil old gloves won't attack the inside of my helmet any more, with their grasping little velcro claws.

I cant afford to ride my bike, (bloody petrol prices) but had a great little pootle over the Kaimai's tonight to scrub in new tyres and try out after 12,000k service, exquisite. I have a great social life, an awesome partner, and my health must be pretty good cause Im still growing

Righto, been working outside hard as muck all day, I rode out to Otahuhu to eat a vietnamese place and then pootled the long way to Sylvia park via Mission bay

I was intending to watch Alien vs Predator : Requiem, but all the farf'n tickets were sold :oi-grr: Never mind, I just went to Games Workshop and talked wargaming shite until they kicked me out at closing time.

My cage may be broken, but I don't give a flying fork. The NC's running sweet as a nut, I have the opportunity to ride home for lunch & have a beer in the sun in a swimming pool, my job is very cruisy at the moment, and most importantly, I have great mates surrounding me.

Not depressed.

Oh, yeah. Life's awesome.

I have two black Suzukis that both go quite fast (even though one's still in pieces after a two-week project turned into a four-month project), a dead sexy girlfriend who's blonde like proper girlfriends are supposed to be, beer and sossidges in the fridge, an M14 in the wardrobe (I really must get my gunrack set up in the basement, ahem), gainful occupation that more or less pays the bills and the world's most beautifulest country to live in.

I'm with you, scracha. The whingers can get fucked; I'm too busy being contented.

Next week I'll be in Malaysia. And bikeless.

Tonight I may well be able to manage, however. I can't think why anyone heading north would take the coast when one of the lands' best fanging grounds to the east achieves the same objective.

What time do you leave?

I am at work, not doing any and my cool boss doesn't care, cos neither is he. Other terribly annoying boss is away for 3 weeks.

The sun is shining, I feel well and don't have a headache despite too many beers and cigarrettes and not much sleep last night.

I have a fab man who is just the coooooolest in everyway and fits me like a glove...a  glove that is  erm that sounds wrong but is somewhat captivating nonetheless - how YOU doin babe?!

My cute, loving, clever fantastic son has just started (within the last 24 hours) to do poos and wees in the toilet instead of in his pants!
:yes::first::hug:

Made a cool new friend who is keen to have me tag along on rides with her. Just as soon as I can get my grubby mitts on the bike...AND she is gonna coook ME some eggs...well not exactly eggs...it will be a Marguerita night next weekend though! Looking forward to it chick

I have lost 15 kilos in the last 4-6 weeks - Look out I will be feeling the urge to clamber into a short(ish) skirt soon!

And there are other things too but these are the standouts. LIFE IS GOOD and WELL WORTH THE EFFORT!

Sun was shining in The vineyard all day, got to 28 with a nice cooling easterly breeze
Our resident "dickhead loud mouth know it all" worker announced he was quitting as of today, ahh peace on monday!!
7 other workers including myself let out a cheer!!
We are so glad to see him go.
Scared the pants out of a boy racer on the way home that didnt check his mirror before overtaking a camper on SH1 just north of Waipara, I was expecting this might happen, so laid on the horn at 140kph as I passed him as he passes the van. Right on the right hand side of the road.
ROLF, plenty of room to spare, i was never in a risky position it was fun
He didnt like the 105kph speed I was doing 100meters down the road when he caught up.... mmmm

Just got back from a fairly successful job interview.

Haven't been to work in aobut 4 weeks due to a broken arm and still getting paid to sit on my arse and 'recover'
My bike's is quite possibly as shiney as it can possibly get.
My brother bought a new project bike which i've been working on alot and it's starting to come into shape.
Cast comes off on Wednesday so i'll be able to ride again and two Big Day Out tickets just arrived in the mail this morning.

Talking of which, a few of the depressed brigade will no doubt be adding a few cuts here and there to themselves....what with Sir Edmundo popping his clogs. :Pokey:

I saw a Ducati 916 (mibby 996 I dunno) in Te Aroha yesterday with one of them fuggin ugly packracks.....sacrilege. At least mine looks good when I'm wobbling about on it

Keep these happy thoughts coming.

Malcolm at Econohonda (http://www.econohonda.co.nz/) found and donated (I think..I'll wait and see if I get a bill) me a Showa shock for the CBR400. Not sure what it's off...has a label with CBR900 on it but we don't think so. Anyway, unlike the standard one is has loads of adjustable things wot turn with a C spanner on it. Oh...and there's a hose connected to a remote reservoir. Dunno what the hell is in the reservoir nor what the adjustable things do but I took it home and compared it to the old farked CBR400 one. Marginally longer but it looks like a straight fit....I'm a happy bunny.

Will this sunshine ever end :2thumbsup.

Off to Athentree/Bowentree Beach tomorrow with the cuddies.
