Am doing some upgrades on a Dragstar 400, at the moment it will just be a braided front line and adjusting levers, bars, brakes etc.
Have had a request to make it louder, it is completely stock at the moment and I know that the trick with harleys is just to stick a long drill up the pipe and cut through a bit of plate that is there to meet noise standards, if I did this to the 400 would it get rediculous loud? i looked at the pipes and they seem to be pressed & welded together so not much hope of pulling them apart to fix them if it got too loud?
are there any other worthwhile upgrades for the dragstar that are easy and available in NZ? not too sure about air filters etc or a free flow exhaust as I really can't be bothered having it re-jetted.
