"Traffic Cops Moving to Franklin"

Franklin this month will become home to 7 :Police: :Police: :Police: :Police: :Police: :Police: :Police: extra police officers dedicated to traffic duties within the region. This follows the decentralisation of thr Counties Manukau poilce traffic unit in Wiri and means a sargent and 6 constables previously based there will move to Pokekohe and Bombay.

Pukekohe Snr Sgt :Police: Rob Arnold says the extra traffic unit could eventually be moved to be based in other areas of Franklin, and were due here by the end of Nov.

Sgt :Police: Noel Foster of the Pukekohe police says the traffic unit in Wiri preveiously dedicated startegic hours to enforcment in Franklin, but having them based here would be benefical.

"They will be here providing an increased presence on Frankiln roads dedicated to traffic enforcement using their local knowledge and taking ownership of the district", He says.

They seem to be saturating the roads with enforcement,thats the strategy. Obviously they wont have 7 on the road at one time,shifts etc, but I guess there would be at least two at all times.

Roads like franklin roads are awesome roads so its a bloody shame from a biker point of view....... Bastards
