Groan!
Yeah mate, just a couple. Highest I got was about 11,300 feet from memory, which was pretty damn chilly! I have a photo somewhere of riding in between 9 foot snow drifts, thank god for the plow!
I will get some more photo's up when I have resized them, finally getting them all sorted out, watch this space.

You can turn right on a red in US. Give way to pedestrians, they sue the arse off you over there.
Go to Fremont St in Vegas at night, way way better than losing your money in a casino. Beale St Memphis is a must!
Stay off the Interstate....boring!
You can turn right on red ONLY in certain States - be sure to check first as it can be quite expensive (and painful) if you try it in those that don't allow it - and there's lots of those.

I always thought that stood for 'fixed wing' but I guess not, lol.
No in fact I will be riding a 2001 Kawasaki Concours that I just bought, it is currently hiding in a mates garage in Seattle.
See pics.
He is taking care of a couple of little additions for me before I get there.
I am so bloody excited about this trip, I feel like a kid at Christmas, filled up with candy and red soda, drunk on eggnog and stuffed with brandycake. I am just preparing some maps and stuff now to share/tease you lot with.
hi there we are riding usa in june july, buying bikes up there. would your mate store a bike long term for cash? any recs for riding up there?
Have stored bikes in US for about 10 years... CA and AZ. No knowledge of Seattle sorry but the place I use in Harbor City LA (South Bay Storage Center, Anaheim Street) is very good and already on the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) and fast access to the 110 and 405. Had a bike-sized space they let me have 'cheap'. Now I have accumulated more stuff I moved to a standard size ride-up locker. There are a lot of franchises that you can find most places like Extra Space Storage - just ask for a drive-up unit... They don't have power for a battery tender though so just disconnect the battery.
