My workmate was cruising on her Kawasaki 750 chopper when what should she find just around a blind courner, but a car doing a U-turn! :headbang:
She is now lying in ICU and is in rather poor condition :(
:crybaby: We still await to see if she will return to us :weep:
Too many people use the NZ roads without actually thinking about what they are doing :puke: At least this person is actually going to recieve charges as a result :moon:
Get well J!!! We look forward to your return

Thats terrible news mate, I guess we all should take that much more care out there, so many cage drivers seem to be void of any common sence, I dont think you would see a biker doing a U turn just around a blind corner

Give your freind my best wishes

I'm not a religious man but believe me when I say I'll be thinking of her and hoping she is OK.

Please keep us advised of her condition and tell her everyone on this board is cheering for her!

have you heard any more about her condition?, what sort of recovery do they expect her to make, ie, what bones etc are broken, not trying to be morbid or anything, just can't imagine the extent of a crash like that, my son nearly got side swiped by a car yesterday, we were following along behind him in a van and saw it happen, fortunately he is an alert bike rider and swerved to avoid the guy, he did give the guy a filthy look though, and rightly so.

Hopefully I'll find out more today at work. I do know that there are some serious bones broken though :eek5:

please pass on well wishes from me and my wife too (as someone who works at Middlemore and has a husband who rides, she's very much aware of what can happen to motorcyclists). We'll be praying for her. Its good to hear she's starting to recover even if it is in small steps.

excellent news, it's amazing what the human body can withstand at times, I hope she will cope mentally with the extent of the accident and will be able to get back on a bike, how trashed was her bike?
