Took the day off for domestic duties! :innocent: Will head down in the morning first thing...
Do pies help riders come to terms with a new bike? If so I think I'll buy a dozen... but not for Kick though he broke the body work a little last week!

yay! Well done to Scrivy and Sidecar bob for not only giving the rest of the field "take some of this" but also for beating the lap record! Stunning guys... :first:
Kick and Divvo crossed the line 8th - but doing the same times as they did last year... which is great! :2thumbsup They are slowly but surely coming to terms with the new beast...

Supersport first Race.
Dennis Charlett again led this from the start, gapping Jay Lawrence. Matt Sadowski passed Lawrence in the early stages of the race and stayed in second place for the rest of the race.
Dave Sadowski had a brave ride despite injury for 7th place.

Superbike First race.
A fantastic race with Bugden, Jones, Shirriffs, Cudlin and Stroud pulling out an early lead from the rest of the riders. All these riders were under lap record time. Jones led for half a lap but Bugden regained the lead at the end of the back straight.
Results:
Robbie Bugden

I see Glen (Codgy) won all 3 of his races today. So far he's had a second and 5 firsts.
Sounds like the superbike races are going to be great television viewing with some real tight hard racing.

Dennis is a LEGEND!! Totally Professional all the way! MAYBE next seaon he'll be on a superbike pushing at the front!! As for James Smith and his BUNG knee he did fantastic for someone in as much pain as he is! I suspect if the knee was good he would've been pushing Dennis, and man oh man Nic Cole was FLYING!!! awesome awesome racing!!!
i REALLY enjoyed the sidecar racing, never really watched it to closely unless Warwick and Dave were out but i sure was glad i watched it today, was the best racing for me of the day!!
Kirk Pritchard was running very well in the 125's leading again for a few laps, awesome work Kirk, but i think you might have some kinda gypsy curse!!! man u got some bad luck, can you sort that out for round 3?
Keep an eye on http://www.triple-r-superbike.co.nz/ for latest news on robbie, dennis and james

Feral1 pushed Glen williams all the way for a well earned 2nd and fastest lap of the day in F3 race2. in race 3 A crap start and a coming togeather with stevie woods in the first turn saw him in 5th fighting with woods and jason nairn while terry and glen pulled away at the front. karl morgan held the trio off in 3rd for a while but the ultra fast protwin boy was passed in the dying stages of the race.. so Feral1 is still 2nd overall in F3 title chase:clap:

Ta, we were pretty happy with the way it went, close to the same times as last year with a new outfit and about 50hp down on what we're used to

I will admit I did not even know, I was settling in to watch the sidecar race which is after the 600's when I saw the ambulance coming in from the track...I thought "hmm poor bugger" until I saw the bike being brought in aftrwards and realised its TS :(
Glad to hear the bike is ok? But how is he? Will he be able to tackle Teretonga?
Hope you are ok Chris....

.....but with a shite load more weight to pull along too....... cut the crusts off the pies kick, you'll stop gaining so much weight....... :bleh::niceone:
50 hp down?????? you mean you were over 200hp on the Busa??? Isn't that an unfair advantage????:dodge:

Chris ran off at the end of the back straight. he was fine until the bike stopped in the gravel trap and he carried on without it. He dislocated his right shoulder, and has torn some muscles in it. He took the week off on holiday and was in no condition for racing at teretonga. We'll be doing everything we can to help him dominate at Manfeild in 3 weeks time.
