Ok, so it's been a long time (the preggie bit not the riding). But seems my cornering has gone to pot. I'm back to square corners and lack of confidence. I'm wondering if this is cause my center of gravity has changed (am half way thru this pregnancy). the other thought is maybe some unconscious survival instinct is over riding my riding instinct? I rode till full term with my daughter who is now nearly 15yrs, so i've forgotten. Anyone else ridden all thru their pregnancy?

my partner rode through her pregnancy also but didnt seem to lose confidence so not sure whats goin on but as you say it could be your centre of gravity has changed so upsets you a bit, hope you sort it out

thanks, i wanna sort it out too. I'm trying to teach hubby and daughter to ride and i'm not feeling like the best person to be teaching when i know my riding isn't up to it's best.

Dunno about the center of gravity thing. I find spending a couple of months hitting the pies hard doesn't make any difference to my riding in technical terms, apart from tiring me more quickly than when I'm in shape.
It'll be some hormonal thing screwing up your concentration, probably.
Just take it easy out there... I'd be a bit leery of riding while pregnant if I was a girl; a bin that'd normally be a "dust off, walk away" event could easily cause all sorts of hassles.
Still. Your call.

Yep, i'm being extra careful, especially while i sort this out - i'm hoping it's just a passing phase.
Was reading up on some of the pregnancy posture changing stuff so i want to blame that, but really, i can't remember having these problems last time.
Over 20yrs of riding and i'm not going to let a little inconvenience like pregnancy interupt LOL.
I might jump of the 250 for a few weeks and see if that makes a difference. What else do u do when you suddenly realise your riding ability needs a tune up?
