In my humble opinion, quality growth of participation on KB will come via word-of-mouth in the motorcycling community, not 'web awards' published for the delectation of the unwashed masses.

I dunno, my dear, I have great fun shooting the shit with my friends here and using the forum to arrange regular rides and other social occasions. I even enjoy the occasional pitched battles with the likes of katman and dipshit.

Maybe the goodness has a lot more to do with how we personally use the forum, than with what it objectively is or is not?

That may only be a good idea if you use a different IP address to vote from. If they track IP addresses they may delete votes where more than one vote comes from an IP address. There are off course many ways around this ;) but I couldn't advise on such practices.
