Heading to Auckland this weekend to pick up lounge suite from Henderson, thought seeing as how we're going that far, might stay at backpackers in Auckland city and find a beer or two. Is it safe to leave a trailer (empty) padlocked to my wagon in the city center?

no better or worse than leaving it unlocked in the middle of Oamaru

Why not just leave it at someone's house, an catch a taxi - if ya paranoid about it

Mate, might be able to do a contra deal for you.

You can leave it at my place, in Henderson Valley, if we can use it. It'll save me hiring one.

Send me a PM or call on 021 579 517 if you are keen

If he says no, at least you know where you can steal one from.

Just dont leave the car unlocked, else you will find a letterbox mounted beside it it the morning and 8 tenants moved in :-)
