Passed my RRRRRessstrrricted today - wooohoo :)

The exam was on Quey St, Auckland city. The examiner was really cool, polite and didnt look mean or angry ( like the dude when i was getting my car licence). Checked my indicators, my brakes back and front. Asked me how long have I had my full car licence (5years) and how long have I had my learners for bike (3years), then asned me how long have I been riding a bike(2months) - got a smile out of him (dunno why). He didnt tell me anyithing I didnt already know from the threads on KB - go with the speed limit, look at my indicators and if you loose me, NO TEST! He repeated the "NO TEST" two times to make sure I understaind. Also said if we get seperated to slow down and let him catch up.

We drove out of Quay St to the right, then went to a smal carpark and he asked me to do some figure 8s for him without putting my foot on the ground. I trid a couple of loops here and there ok, but carpark was really small so I had to put my foot down coz the GTRs steering is not so wide and if I turn maximum my fist touches the tank and I cant give gas. anyhow, I did what i could for a minute or two and came back. He said: have you done figure 8s before?" I said yea but not on such a small space, and then he added and your steering does not help much ay its tight isnt it, I was like amm yea. Then he said go to the far end of carpark, get up to 20km/h and stop as fast as you can with both brakes without skidding. Done it easy. he was like ok lets go. Then got out of the carpark, went into some streets on the left and went trough 3 stop signs, 4 give way signs. The stop signs were either downhill or uphill, then onto Quay street and back to AA. A little bit small talk - "where you from bla bla bla" and restricted is mine.

30 second later I ripped off the L plate and put it demonstratively in the bin.

Thats it falks, from now on it is exactly 365 (or 366) days untill the full, already crossing te days on the callender.

P.S. After the test I checked my lotto ticket from the weekend and I had won $34 000 000 bux. what a day :) - na it was only $34 bux but he still not bad

Could you please list the things you saw that they asked you for on this route?

For example I think there are some opposing Stop signs aswell as a pedestrian crossing on Gladstone Road.

I think they'll ask you what the sign was on the other side of a T intersection to test whether you know if you can go or not. If they have no Stop and no Give Way means you you have to give way because they are coming across your right even though in reality everyone just assumes they can turn right without stopping.

I wan't asked any questions. noyt even to spot the hazaeds on the road. it was really really easy.
