Yes, yes, it's another trick helmet thread from me. All the Givi web sites seem to be down at the moment (slackers??). So I haven't been able to actually get into their own sites!
I saw this lid in a Brit. mag today. The mag advertises to visit www.givi.co.uk. Wasted add when the site fails and I tried to access it from work and home.

It is good to see that some manufacturers are actually trying to improve and experiment with the helmet design, rather than sticking with the original base design from the neolithic age.

You buy this helmet and get modular parts to add/remove to change from winter to summer use i.e. change the chin guard and top air vents. it also has my favourite internal sun visor. Like the Airoh I bought recently it can also be used as an open face. Givi has just taken the concept further by providing interchangeable chin guards and air vents/covers

It comes in grey or black. The black looks better.

Looks interesting. I wonder what it will cost?

The Givi site is up and running again. No mention of cost.
Looking at the pictures I can't see how the inner visor is operated?

Thought you had a new helmet to go with the bike (I waved at you this morning going through Tawa just by Roundabout Pub).

Nice...

Yes that would have been me, but more to the point..what were doing at a pub at 8am?

I have a cunning plan to avoid unwanted recognition..never wear the same helmet for too long. Sort of a multiple disguises scheme to confuse people.

Silly boy. I was on the RF.

Not too sure about the changing helmets thing though. I reckon the bikes are running 2 to 1 on that deal mate.

These look very good.

It's about someone took the next step in Lid technology.

May be Arai are going to be in trouble!

And even better, in summer you get to pretend you're in Battle of the Planets.

That probably gives my age away

nice idea although the summer version could do with some sort of grill/mesh to keep the flying critters out!

...But then you have to stop for lunch.
