Children to be vetted for antisocial acts
5:00AM Thursday January 24, 2008
By Simon Collins (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/author/index.cfm?a_id=135)
Children as young as 3 are to be screened for signs of antisocial behaviour which could identify whether they are likely to become future criminals.
Youngsters aged between 3 and 7 will be vetted under a new Government initiative which also proposes training courses for both parents and teachers of up to 5 per cent of the 57,000 5-year-olds who start school each year - up to 3000 children a year.

No 'seems' about it. But when you see who is allowed to breed, it's no wonder, eh?

POSITIVE ITEMS
* Complies promptly with teacher instructions.
* Responds appropriately when other children try to interact with him/her.
* Expresses anger without becoming destructive or violent.
NEGATIVE ITEMS
* Disrupts the play or activities of other children.
* Tries to get own way by throwing tantrums, e.g. sulking, shouting, swearing or refusing to co-operate.
* Acts violently towards others, e.g. shoves, hits, pushes other children.
Based on that I would have been fucked.
My parents were not doing a bad job either, I was just a little shit.
Mostly ok now tho, mostly!

So the plan is:
Give anti-social people an incentive to breed by linking benefits with number of children.
Wait till each kid from these families is at school age and then intervene.
our government is fucked in the head.

Only 5%??
More worrying is this:
A Ministry of Education spokesman said the screening test was still being developed but it was likely to be included in the new "B4 School" health checks for 4-year-olds, due to start nationally next month.
How can they be allowed to teach children to be normal people, if they're encouraging 'text speak' when the children are just four years old?

Well we complain about the actions of these kids when they get older and that the Govt is too soft on crimes so maybe this is not such a bad idea if they slip it into health checks...........
If it improves society then I am all for it

The test is easy - if the kid calls their mother 'Pam', and their grandma 'ma', their going to jail.
But seriously, what happens when these kids they have identified as criminals actually commit crimes - the government will have to somehow be held accountable because they actually knew the likelehood.
The only other option is to lock them up as soon as they turn 18 - I have no problem with that If they are the real bad kind.

Bet anyone a choccy fish that 99% + of the "anti-social" kids will be little boys.
And the "training courses" will be designed to turn them into (second class) little girls.
By their standards every single kid Iwent to school with was anti social and should have turned out a criminal. Strange that most haven't. Or maybe they have, since thinking for yourself is pretty much a criminala ct nowdays.

Yeah well my brother went to a parenting class. God forbid. While in Nelson my newphew packed a whopping big tantrum - slammed doors, ran out of the house, yelling and swearing - and why?? Cos I had told him off calmly and told him to start getting grateful.
This behaviour of his was ignored cos brother was told to ignore it - how's the retard learning right from wrong. The fact he was allowed to abuse property and f off for an hour - well he missed the stockcards that I was going to shout him and his father to.
Why isn't shit kid allowed to do dishes - this is fn classic - hygene. Well fk me how come brother and I are still alive! Our family totalled 7 - dishes from arsehole to breakfast time. We had to do them.
mstrs got it right - look who's allowed to breed!! present govt cultivated these morons and mentality. I certainly never voted for this govt.

Cos at the end of the day, if you aint been to china......you don't know jack about "Big Brother".
300,000+ people who's only job is to block websites, check emails...see what you are typing.
Guaranteed good lifestyle for ALL police......like wise full respect, unlimited jobs.
All phone conversations recorded on 10,000+ rolling window servers.
Every on/off ramp to anything takes a photo of your car.
CCTV (closed circuit, not the channel) cameras every 50m in Beijing, every 200m in Shanghai.
I think NZ cant do much worse.
As for scanning kids to see if the are young loopys.......wont matter a fuck as they wont lock them up, or do anything about it. Its an empty threat, with no infrastructure behind it (CYPS, Police, metal instatutions ha not in NZ). Like saying they will defend the country.....with the Air force.

There is no such thing as "bad history". Throw a dart at a time line and there'll be something to learn from where it lands.

But without a view to history all ideas are new.
There are two ways to learn - from our own experience or from that of others.
If something has been tried before it's extremely beneficial to look back and learn from that experience - no matter how long ago it was tried.
With specific reference to the rise of the Nazi regime we can look back and examine the warning signs so that we can make sure it never happens again.

Some history we want to repeat, some we don't. I suppose you could categorise history as good or bad in this way. I prefer to look at all history as a potential lesson, one way or another.

Easy solution. Government by law adds contraceptive pill to all water supplies. Only the Speights brewery has an exception. So, chicks remain non-preggers. Guys that drinks Speights are OK. Those that don't drink Speights are probably homos anyway, so a dose of fanny pills will probably be right up their (back) alley.
And the population will be maintained by the small but elite and refined group of chicks who drink Speights. Who obviously are exactly the sort of people we want as the nations Mums.
