The only real complaint I have with my Transalp has been the buffeting in the form of a side to side 'head wobble' when riding 2 up if Mrs TG starts looking around.
After a lot of experimentation with coroflute extentions and spoilers tacked on to the std screen it looked like the MRA Vario screen was the thing to have. Unfortunately after importing it it made no difference 2 up  but is great riding alone. The adjustable spoiler at the top of the screen does deflect the airstream to suit. In heavy rain it can be adjusted so very little hits the visor. Great!
About a month before the Pissed Penguin I ordered a Givi Touring screen. It eventually arrived about 3 weeks ago. It works really well riding alone and has quietened the wind noise around the helmet. Today we tried it 2 up while visiting friends in Chch via Gebbies pass, Summit Road, Dyers pass Rd etc. What a difference, not a hint of buffeting at all. Awesome! :woohoo:
Obviously there are a lot of variables and everyone is different, however if you have a buffeting problem with a Transalp the Givi screen is well worth a try. Anybody want a MRA Vario screen for their TA? Cheers, Tim.
