British production from the makers of "Layer cake".

Looks a lot better than most of the shite thrust upon us in the last few years, check it (http://www.freedompicturecompany.com/index.html)

hahhahaha about 150 of us had a rave on that hill with the monument.. One of the lads scored a 4 tonne truck which we had the decks and speakers in.... We got truly wrecked, cold and danced out tits off until the sun came up.

The layer cake is worth a watch so i'll keep my eye open for this one.. churr SBP and welcome back ;)

One of the scene's (riding in the country hills) reminds me of 'Ned Devine' (another great british motorcycle movie)....
Well, it had a 'bike of sorts' scene in it..:pinch:

Ace Cafe features in it, that's awesome.

Been to the Ace, got the t-shirt.

And a patch, come to think of it. And some studs for my leather jacket.

Anyway. Film looks worth a watch, will have to check it out. :niceone:

Had a look at what was available about this movie. Will definetley go and see it. But have to admit that I was a fraction disappointed that it seems to be so much about drugs. A drugs movie like others, just bikes thrown in.

Hey, I am not gods best child, very far from it. But after waiting for ages for a good biker movie I was hoping that drugs were not gonna be the focus.

Looks like anything else. If you want it done properly you just have to do it your self...

Freebird was mentioned on KB back when it was being made. It was also featured in the Brit bike mags. It has taken rather longer to get released than I thought and I'd almost given up on it.

Now to track it down...

Eh? You used to be able to (semi-)legally buy them at street markets and headshops in the UK. What's changed in the last five years? Turn my back for half a decade and the country goes to the dogs. More.

And the UK film industry has a record that could charitably be described as 'patchy', in recent years. If it's as good as 'layer cake' it'll be worth a watch, cos 'layer cake' rocked. But if it's like 'blue juice', it'll suck balls.

Plot synopsis of 'blue juice': bunch of middle-aged has-been surfers in denial go on one last road trip. Copious amounts of psychedelic drugs are involved.

Substitute 'bikers' for 'surfers' in that last paragraph and what have you got?

You can sort of get them but not like in A'Dam. I like the wild grown ones personally.

Sounds good, but i'll wait ill i see it after the crap that has been spawned upon us with the likes of torque and biker boys. There is otwo good biker movies I haven't seen though and thats "faster" & "the doctor, the tornado and the kentucky kid", i can't seem to find them anywhere though.
