Hey Dudes and Dudess's,

Have been looking at available dates for this and thought a good idea to have a do in Queenstown what about the 18th 19th April............a week before the Beaumont County Rally.

Anyway, have wanted to try and get the ball rolling for ages, as there are getting to be quite a few of us bikers here in Queenstown, and a while ago, the Remarkable Bike Group had the 12 mile delta rally.

This is nothing like that, but I am going to be trying to get a group going in the future, and organise a Woodybee Rally..................next year!!!!

In the meantime, why dont you polish your bikes, dust off your platforms, iron your flares, and come to Queenstown.

The plan is to stay at the campsite,(number to follow on shortly), you guys can sort it out yourself.................there are cabins there, too bit pricey but choice is yours......

Nightlife is fantastic there, as is the restaurants.............but a cool idea could be to grab a barbeque site down by the lakefront, and gaze in wonder at the Remarkable's and wash the sunset down with some fine wine or copious amounts of beer!!!!!

A mate of mine runs a nightclub there, with some fab bands so I can find out whose playing there.

How about a ride out to Glenorchy (wicked ride) have a pint or coffee, cops are pretty prevalent down here...be warned):Police: then meander back for a night on the town.:Punk::drinkup:

We could even dine together some groovy for a farewell to summer breakfast on the sunday......like I said, it could be Queenstown revival for a rally time.

Guys you can do what you want here, jet boat, bungy, acrobatic flying, choice is yours............................

Show us your thoughts, as this girl likes to party and will guarantee a fun time here in Queenstown, so come and join in:2thumbsup

So adios for now, live long dudes, and prosper.

Hugs from Woodybee

Hey Dudes and Dudess's

:mega:Here's one for your diary's and to place in your memory banks.

Come to Queenstown on the weekend of 18th, 19th April 08, and say Goodbye to Summer.

The idea is to get together in this wonderful part of the South Island, with some dramatic and exhiliarating scenery.

The campsite is the favourite to stop at and closest to town, so will update this thread in a bit with the telephone number, so you can book yourselves in, they have cabins etc., but its up there in price, be warned.

Queenstown is packed with things to do, you can bungy, skydive, raft, or come for a ride and a beer/coffee (:Police: are prevalent in this part of the area folks), or just relax and take in the vibrancy this town has to offer.:woohoo:

Thought we could dine out one night, or do whatever, then the following night, perhaps barbeque down by the lakefront and watch the sun set over the imposing and beautiful Remarkable Mountain Range.

Another idea could be to take over a cafe on the Sunday and have a goodbye to summer breaky before we all go our seperate ways, and look forward to the Beaumont Rally the following week.

There are shed loads of bikes around the area, and I am keen to get a Bike Group Organised so watch this space if you live round here.

As the Glenorchy is sadly not with us anymore, I though we could take a ride out there, and bid it goodbye, the road there is winding and a bikers dream.

As for nightlife, well guys, this place hums, :drinknsin::spudflip:a mate of mine owns Revolver Bar and they always have some kicking bands there, and how fun would that be to cruise round together in a big group and go and trip the light fandando.

So polish your platforms, dust off your flares and come and party with the Queenstown mob. This chick knows how to party so come along and join in the fun.

I know that there's lot of rallies this time of year, but you wont have to pay admission, and I might even get some badges sorted for afterwards.

I want to organise a rally to take over from the Glenorchy Rally next year, and have already started to pick out some spots for it.

So after the Woodstock could come Woodys Remarkable Rally!! Hey thats got a ring about it.

There seems to be an increasing group of us KBer's now, and its always fun to get together eh, so lets have more of them.......I live for the summer for this kind of stuff:yeah:

Well, thats all for n ow, going to have my din dins and pack my bag for the Vincent County and magical rally.........me and a group of bikers are leaving Battery Hill, Frankton Road, Queenstown Friday 1st Feb and hope to have the ODT cover a story about a potential new Group.......so if you live nearby and want to convoy come and join us:ride:

See you at the Vincent, and keep an eye on the log, and let me know if you reckon its a goer.

Coi for now:Punk:

Come down here and Have Some Fun,
May be Quicker if you Run
Pack up your bike for a fantastic ride
Get your mates right by your side

Queenstowns, beautiful, fun easy on the eye
By the end of the weekend you'll want to Cry
For the fun you've had will have exhausted you
With the wonderful and Lovely outstanding KB Crew

We hope to have this as a prelog to our rally
So come to the warm up, dont dilly dally
The Rally next year as yet has no name
So we scratch our heads, they all seem so far so tame

But it wont take long, we get the venue, then the name
And rallies just wont quite seem the same again
It'll be up there with the very best
You'll want a badge on your jacket with our crest

Just read this and its not that good
No swearing, no jearing its not even rude.
Shows I really need some sleep
Then perhaps my thoughts will be more deep

Anyway, put the date in your dairy and come along
We wont be towing tractors as we'll really not that strong
Meet and Greet the Queenstown Crew
Some Faces will be old others will be shiny and new.

But we're all bikers through and through
And want to party under the sky thats blue
So join us, come and have sone fun
You can rest assured you wont be the only one.

Ta dar:whistle:

See you at the March Hare Dudes and Dudess's

Any nth islanders thinking of doing this event,do it.

Am staying in Arrowtown campground and clean and vibrant, even the pubs are great, except they serve too many beers to me.

If we could do this event we would be back in an instant, weather is beaut.

Hey Dudes and Dudess's,

Sadly will have to cancel this weekend as there is only a couple that are keen.

and

It sounds like it will be pissing down Friday and Saturday which is a shame so it doesn't feel so bad pulling the plug on this one..

I am off to watch my mate race his bike at Teratonga on Sunday so if anyone fancies a blast and a laugh down there, let me know and we could meet and greet there.

In the meantime, see you all soon at the Beaumont or The Brass and the KB Get Together where ever that will be.

And the Queenstown rally will happen next year, will start fliers on folk's bikes at the Pissed Penguin.

Have a great weekend dudes and dudess's you top bunch of folk:niceone::msn-wink::Punk::ride::drinkup::wavey::spudflip:

Oooooo and btw, if anyone fancies coming down to Queenstown for a rage, let me know.
